Peace Sign

Ca aurait tellement été cool que Cœur de pirate serais venu chanter Peace Sing avec Lights au show de samedi. Mais Ca l’air qu’elle était pas dispo ! Étrangement, elles ne se sont jamais rencontré ! Elles ont fait la traduction et communication par e-mail !

J’ai tant voulu savoir si mes peurs ont tout fait pour m’égarer

mais quand la vérité se cache

je te suivrai où que tu veuilles aller

et quand la guerre éclate

tu es le silence

et dans tous ce désordre

Siberia Acoustic

Last saturday I saw Lights on her acoustic show. It was the fifth time that i saw her and it was DEFENITELY the best. She is so talented it’s surreal. She was accompanied by a guy who was playing the cello (Go Kevin !!), it sounded sooo good. She played songs from her new record, Seberia Acoustic, and also old ones like Second Go, Romance Is (instead of In The Dark I See), Drive my soul and Pretend. She also played Timing is Everything and Everybody Breaks A Glass, songs that are not on Siberia Acoustic but available on iTunes (or something like that i’m not sure i understood right haha i’m french i’m sorry). She played two songs that were from other artists, like Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For by U2 and another song by Bjork. I don’t like U2, but when she sang their song  i was like : omg this is so good !! Lights has that power on me : she could sing the alphabet and I’d be like: whoa its the best song ever !!

 The show was in Montréal at Theâtre Corona, wich is a really great theater, its old with painting on the ceiling and there were people sitting at tables on the ground floor, it was very classy, like Lights said. I was on the balcony, but i was suprised by the view we had, it was just perfect !

The only thing i didn’t like is the lightning (wich is weird…) because i almost couldn’t see her, it was so dark on stage XD

I’m trying to paint this, this summer, for my mom :) It’s been a while since she asked me to do it. She wanted something with nature, country, filds, water, boat…. and when she said that I thought about that scene from the Notebook. I saw this picture and I was like THAT’S IT !!! I FOUND IT ! I just hope it’s gonna be good haha
